Kommentar:
Another intermission is taken in the story in order to tell the history of Simon Culp, the surly dwarf that haunts Shade. He set himself up as Shade's rival, particularly when they both exhibited shadow powers. One day during the war, Shade and Culp battled, resulting in Culp merging with Shade. Culp was the one who made Shade act in uncharacteristic ways and he was the one who destroyed Opal. This story also shows what happened to Renee, the pocket encyclopedia from the "A (K)night at the Circus" arc from the beginning of the title. |
